๐ Store Guide: Passes, Status, Buffs & Currency Packs
Official player guide โข Last updated: 2026-06-15
The Store is the account-upgrade and timed-buff hub. It shows your off-chain SONO and WOS balances, lets you buy permanent status upgrades, purchase timed Farm buffs, and manage optional currency packs.
Store purchases use in-game balances unless a card clearly belongs to the real-money pack area. Important gameplay actions may ask for your session password. Active buffs are shown with timers so you know what is already running before buying again.
Quick Navigation
Your Store wallet
The Store reads your off-chain balances: SONO and WOS. These are the balances used for in-game purchases, Store buffs, relic-related costs and account upgrades. They are separate from any external wallet view unless a specific on-chain route says otherwise.
- SONO: used for premium account upgrades, relic economy routes and some Store purchases.
- WOS: used for level upgrades, crafting, auction creation fees and internal economy actions.
- Relic Fragments: not the main Store wallet, but connected to crafting attempts, talent resets and conversion systems.
Permanent upgrades
Permanent upgrades change your account profile. They are not timed buffs and do not disappear after a timer.
โ Mining Pass
Improves several reward systems: task rewards, referral points, Learn attempts, Learn SONO access and SONO Farm rate.
๐ Sonic Explorer Status
A broad progression status. It improves Learn limits, referral rewards, Farm rate, Expeditions and several reward routes.
๐ค Grandmaster Relic
A late-game account relic. It improves listening and Daily rewards and unlocks Grandmaster Reset paths when other requirements are met.
๐ Session password
Protected purchases can require your session password so important account actions are not triggered accidentally.
Grandmaster Relic adds +30% to listening Points, adds +20% to Daily Claim Points and adds +5 fragments to Daily Claim. Its largest role is not just the daily bonus: it unlocks Grandmaster Reset and high-end talent cap expansion.
Timed buffs
Store buffs are temporary account effects. They show active timers, and the UI tries to avoid making players buy blindly when a buff is already running.
| Buff | Effect | Use case |
|---|---|---|
| โจ Double Boost | Listening Total Boost ร2 while active. | Best before a planned listening session. |
| ๐ฅ Cap Lift | Temporarily disables the normal Total Boost cap. | Best for very strong builds that already hit the cap. |
| ๐ Craft Boost | Adds craft success chance while active. | Best before a crafting session or batch. |
Cap Lift is not โanother multiplier.โ It removes the normal cap while active, so the value depends on how strong your existing boost stack already is.
How buying works
- Open the Store and check your current balances.
- Read the card: permanent upgrade, timed buff or currency pack.
- Check whether the item is already owned or active.
- Confirm the purchase and enter the session password if requested.
- Wait for the Store to update your balances and active-state display.
- Insufficient off-chain SONO or WOS.
- The item is already owned or already active.
- The session password was missing or incorrect.
- The account state changed while the purchase was being processed.
- The server rejected a protected or duplicate action.
Full-screen Store view
The Store can open into a full-screen dashboard so balances, packs, buffs and purchase cards are easier to read. This is mainly a usability feature for desktop and mobile: it does not change prices or reward logic.
Currency packs
Currency packs are optional and should be read carefully. They are separate from normal gameplay rewards and from permanent status purchases. The Store presents them as part of the economy dashboard, but they are not required to listen, complete tasks, enter Expeditions or play the core loop.
Common messages
- Already owned: the permanent upgrade is already on your account.
- Already active: the timed buff is currently running.
- Not enough balance: your off-chain wallet does not hold enough of the required currency.
- Session password required: the action is protected and needs confirmation.
- Refresh state: the Store is asking the server for the latest balances and timers.
Practical strategy
- Buy permanent upgrades before temporary buffs if you are still early in the game.
- Use Double Boost and Cap Lift when you are ready to listen, not hours before you leave the app idle.
- Use Craft Boost before a planned crafting batch.
- Check active timers in the Store and Listening UI before buying another buff.
- Grandmaster Relic matters most when you are seriously preparing for level 60 and Grandmaster Reset.
