Title and description
The title names the decision. The description provides the intended context, scope and trade-offs. Read it before treating the option labels as a complete summary.
Some decisions reach the Field as recovered proposal sheets. They ask where an event should move, which balance direction deserves attention, or what kind of system should be built next. Every operator carries a different amount of recorded history into that room. The Voting console turns that history into Voting Power, records one weighted choice and preserves the final result in the public archive.
This guide follows the current RFV161 implementation from the first open proposal to the long Voting achievement ladder. It explains what the screen shows, when results unlock, why an old ballot keeps its original weight, how the Fragment reward is calculated and how ordinary account progress becomes a community signal.
Build the account โ gather Voting Power โ read the proposal โ cast one weighted vote โ receive Fragments โ advance the Archive.
Voting does not spend Points, SONO, WOS, GAS Coins or Voting Power. The displayed power is a weight written onto the ballot, not a balance that is consumed.
The title names the decision. The description provides the intended context, scope and trade-offs. Read it before treating the option labels as a complete summary.
The card shows its creation date and closing time in your deviceโs local display. The server checks the deadline again when the ballot is submitted.
A proposal can carry up to three option fields. Only configured options become buttons; an empty option cannot receive a vote.
A proposal is a one-time decision record. It is not a wager and it does not promise that every option will become a direct patch. The useful reading is: what question is being asked, what each route changes, what remains outside the scope, and when the decision closes.
After the deadline the choices disappear, the status becomes Voting ended and the final weighted result remains available for later inspection.
| State | Button | What you can see | What you can still do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open, not voted | View details | Description and available choices. Current results remain locked. | Cast one vote before the deadline. |
| Open, voted | View vote | Your chosen option and current weighted results. | Observe the result. The recorded choice cannot be replaced. |
| Ended, not voted | View results | Description and final weighted results. | Read the archive. New votes are closed. |
| Ended, voted | View results | Your stored choice and final weighted results. | Read the archive and later Sync any newly reached badge. |
Cards are sorted with active proposals first. Among active proposals, newer sheets appear above older ones. Completed cards follow in closing-date order.
| Source | Current contribution | Cap | What the game reads |
|---|---|---|---|
| ๐ Current Daily Streak | 150 power per day | No separate contribution cap | The current streak stored by Daily Login. |
| ๐ Player Level | 200 power per level | No separate contribution cap | Your current level. A Grandmaster Reset returns the level part to the new curveโs current level. |
| ๐ Referrals | 500 power per recorded referral | 300,000 power | The referral relationships credited to your account. |
| โ Mined SONO history | 2 power per 1 SONO recorded in SONO mining | 1,000,000 power | Lifetime mining records, not the SONO currently sitting in Store Balance. |
| โ Mining Pass | +10,000 | Fixed | The status must currently be active. |
| ๐ Sonic Explorer Status | +30,000 | Fixed | The status must currently be active. |
| ๐ค Grandmaster Relic | +50,000 | Fixed | At least one Grandmaster Relic in the account. |
An operator at Level 28 with a 37-day streak, 12 referrals, 80,000 mined SONO, Mining Pass and Explorer carries:
Add a Grandmaster Relic and the same account would carry 267,150.
Spending mined SONO later does not erase the mining history contribution. Buying SONO into Store Balance does not automatically become mined SONO history. The formula follows the mining ledger used by the game.
When you submit a vote, the game calculates Voting Power once and stores that number beside the selected option. Final results add the stored weights of every ballot. They do not reopen every account and recalculate the past.
Leveling, extending a streak, adding referrals, mining SONO or activating a status changes the number shown at the top of the Voting tab.
The vote remains the weight recorded at submission. This keeps the proposal stable and prevents later account changes from rewriting history.
That is why the current header may show more or less power than a previous voteโs receipt. Both numbers can be correct: one is the account now, the other is the archived ballot then.
Current results remain hidden until your account has voted on that proposal. This prevents the live bar from becoming a cue before the choice is committed.
Final results become readable to logged-in players even when they did not participate. The decision is closed, so the archive can be transparent without influencing a future ballot.
Result bars are based on total Voting Power, not a simple headcount. One option can have fewer individual voters and still carry more weight. The internal result also counts ballots, but the current player-facing bars emphasize the weighted signal.
Before the deadline the bars are a live snapshot and can still move. After the deadline the same area is labelled Final results.
| Account state at submission | Fragments paid |
|---|---|
| No status | 20 ๐งฉ |
| โ Mining Pass | 80 ๐งฉ |
| ๐ Explorer | 120 ๐งฉ |
| โ Mining Pass + ๐ Explorer | 180 ๐งฉ |
The authoritative receipt returned after a successful ballot is the number to trust. RFV161 server logic pays 20 base, +60 with Mining Pass and +100 with Explorer.
The header counts distinct proposal IDs with a recorded vote from your account. It is lifetime progress, not the number of active proposals and not the number of times the Voting tab was opened.
Duplicate or legacy edge-case rows are collapsed by proposal ID for the displayed total.
A successful submit response includes the new total, so the header can advance without leaving the tab.
The Voting achievement family also counts distinct successfully recorded proposals.
After crossing a threshold, open Profile and run Sync achievements. Each badge pays once and also advances Achievement Rank.
| Badge | Distinct proposals | One-time Archive payment |
|---|---|---|
| Ballot Noise I | 1 | 500 ๐งฉ + 100 โ |
| Ballot Noise II | 5 | 1,500 ๐งฉ + 250 โ |
| Ballot Noise III | 10 | 4,000 ๐งฉ + 750 โ |
| Patchbay Councillor | 15 | 8,000 ๐งฉ + 1,500 โ |
| Quorum Wrangler | 25 | 18,000 ๐งฉ + 4,000 โ |
| Democracy De-Esser | 35 | 40,000 ๐งฉ + 15,000 โ |

The immediate 20โ180 Fragment vote reward and the later badge payment are separate. The first arrives with the ballot; the second arrives once through the Achievement Archive Sync ledger.
Voting Power is intentionally assembled from broad account history. There is no separate Voting talent and no reason to damage a coherent build only for one proposal.
Daily Streak and ordinary leveling create a predictable base. This route grows even when the account is not focused on trade or referrals.
Referral relationships add 500 each until the contribution reaches 300,000. Mutual friendships are valuable elsewhere, but the Voting formula counts referrals themselves.
Mined SONO history is the largest scalable single lane, capped at one million Voting Power. It rewards long economy participation rather than the current wallet snapshot.
Mining Pass, Explorer and a Grandmaster Relic add fixed layers. They are broad account tools first; Voting Power is one of their secondary traces.
Power changes influence, not clarity. Read the description, separate the immediate option from its longer consequences, and choose the route you want recorded under your account.
No. The current system records one choice per account and proposal.
No. The power is copied onto the ballot as weight.
The header is recalculated from the account now. The old ballot keeps the value recorded when it was submitted.
Not while the proposal is open. Once it ends, final results are available even if you did not participate.
RFV161 authoritative reward logic pays 20 base, +60 with Mining Pass and +100 with Explorer. The success receipt reflects the committed value.
The scalable SONO lane reads recorded mined SONO history. Current Store Balance by itself is not the same source.
After the Completed Votes counter reaches 1, 5, 10, 15, 25, 35 or 50 and the successful ballot is already visible.
The Signal Council remembers one thing with unusual precision: the account you had, the choice you made and the weight the Field heard at that moment.
